My name is Dr. Anya Scolaro and I am a Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Certified Neurofeedback specialist in New York. I have over 12 years of experience helping individuals and couples/partners overcome anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, emotion regulation and other mental health symptoms, and use a warm, compassionate yet highly structured approach in both my therapy and psychological testing services.

Learn about Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy for teens and adults. I have offices in New York, NY and Upstate New York (Stone Ridge), and am also licensed in New Jersey. I offer in-person, hybrid and telehealth sessions and also have students that work under my supervision.
Common reasons that families and individuals work with me for psychological testing include evaluating for ADHD and Autism, assessing academic, intelligence and learning styles for school supports, and securing accommodations for work, school, and standardized tests.
I have specific expertise in treating Obsessed Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD), Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors with Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP). I am a member of the International OCD Foundation.
